Fulfil promise on Ram mandir: Bhaiyyaji to BJP

New Delhi: RSS general secretary Suresh ‘Bhaiyyaji’ Joshi on Sunday made a veiled attack on BJP for not fulfilling its promise of constructing a Ram temple in Ayodhya even as Hindu right wing groups held a massive rally in Delhi to press for the temple.

The rally was meant to be an attempt to give a final call to the Union government to enact a legislation, if need be, for the construction of the temple.

a date for the beginning of the hearing in January.

VHP has already approached President Ram Nath Kovind, MPs of different political parties and state governors to seek support for a legislation for the temple. In the coming weeks, it will hold religious rituals and prayers at temples, VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal said.
